Mascara Coverage: Did you know you have at least two layers of lashes on the top lid? Make sure you coat the top AND bottom of your upper row to get the fullest lash. Double up with two mascaras and wand types to get the fattest lash and throw out that eyelash curler!

Feathering: Reduce the look of feathering or ‘cracked’ lips by applying a wax based lip liner. Keep those liner pencils sharp! Go for a shade darker than your lipstick, but ensure it is in the same color family (coral/copper or pink/red).

Lip Liner Application Tips:

• Thin Lips: Draw your lip liner on and slightly above the lip line to increase your pout. Dry 2 seconds; apply fill color.
• Full Lips: Keep your lip liner just inside the lip line; dry 2 seconds; fill with lipstick, then press to blend.

Try a low-priced glam Look: Try lip liner + chapstick or neutral lip color. The look is attractive, polished, and works best for day-time beauty. Line, roll-on, then press. Voila - new lip color for pennies!

Frizzies

Fading: Keep hair color fresh by touching up color a minimum of every 6 weeks. If you have chosen a blonde or gold shade and find your hair dulling, consider low-lights (a dark shade infusion) to restore shine and manageability.

Shine: Conditioning is not optional for some hair types. Double up your efforts with a conditioning spritz after the shower. If you blow dry, give your hair additional defense by spritzing heat-resistant hair products.

Black Hair:
Moisturize with an oil-based hair conditioner every morning whether you wash or not. Your hair will grow faster and stronger than with conditioning cream alone, and oil doesn’t cause flaky scalp like creams can.

Shape & Length

Follow your cuticle. Square nails are popular, but a rounded nail gives shorter nails and fingers a longer appearance. To get the best look for your hand, use your cuticle shape as a guide.

Buff and shine. If you can’t keep up with the weekly regimen of polishing nails and waiting for layers to dry, keep your nails buffed to a shine. Four–way nail buffers are perfect for removing ridges, pushing back cuticles (make sure fingers are moist), and adding a natural shine that will last for days!

Short Fingers: Regardless of your cuticle line, rounded nails look best and give shorter fingers a longer, more feminine look.

Polish & Shine

Polish on or polish off. Once nails chip, either cheat by reapplying a pseudo layer, or take it off. Your hands are a subconscious statement about your personal hygiene – make sure that statement is positive!

Yellow Nails. Polish containing formaldehyde or red tinted pigments are the most common reasons for yellowing nails. To get rid of yellow fast, use a ‘ridge removing’ nail buffer. Breaking In New Shoes

The best way to avoid the heel and toe burn of new leather shoes is to wet the leather prior to wear. Using a damp rag or sponge, thoroughly soak the heel and toe area. Wear the shoes the first time while they are damp, and they'll fit like a glove!
